Simple backpack for Short Camping Trips

Bought this bag for my daughter's camping trip as it was lighter to carry than my old school external framed back.
45L is a good size for a teenager and was able to get all the necessary gear into the bag and externally attach the tent. The two drawstring system at the top provides good closure and compression. The bag says it water resistant (not waterproof) so a rain cover is needed. The full length zipper provides access to gear without having to remove items from the pack. The zipper will have water ingress during rainy conditions. So you have to weigh the pros and cons of the access zipper.
Hood pouch provides decent storage for high use items. The back needs a better water bottle holder. Tough time fitting a larger size bottle.
The rip stop material is pretty durable for light use. Backpack is easy to spot on the trail with the blue colour way.

A comfortable pack to wear in warm weather

Picked up this pack on sale while we were on vacation. We used it a few times for hiking/day trips, it performed well. The internal frame and ventilation system make this a comfortable pack to wear warm weather. The shoulder straps and hip belt feel good and are easy to adjust. The main compartment, side and top pockets are easy to access and well setup for a pack of this size. The construction and materials in the pack are good. Time will tell how the pack stands up to recreational hiking and day-trips.

I've used this bag for most of the past year, it hasn't torn, ripped or broke in any way yet total weight I have carried at once was 65lbs I recommend 50lbs to be the limit.

A: Yes it does along the bottom . The metal rods dig right into my daughters lower back/hip. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to fix this problem?

Q: The two aluminum stays on the back are bent -- curve like the letter C. Is it supposed to be that way? I've never seen that in a pack in 35 yrs. Some websites says it has adjustable torso length; is that it? Cant figure out how to adjust.

A: I have another pack and the stays are the same it provides airflow around the pack and if you have a hydration pack it helps keep the water cool as well as your back drier.

A: Le sac 45L portera une tente à 2 ou 3 personne randonnée typique avec un sac de couchage de style micro-lite. Q: What is that little opening on the back of the back pack it has a picture of something almost looks like a water droplet , it leads inside of the bag?

A: As far as I can tell, this opening is intended for the tube from a camelback / water bag to pass through so you don't have to run it out under the lid of the bag.
