Oster Prima Latte II

I bought the second version (19 bar) a couple years ago when I saw it had been redesigned and pressure increased. It's worth the extra 10 percent or so cost. This new model's milk venturi comes apart and can be easily cleaned, and it has Performed so much better. I owned two of the 15 bar prima latte machines, and they were excellent, but had problems, difficult to clean, and would lime up, even with regular descaling the prior version lasted about three years and thousands of cups of cappuccino and espresso. This one looks like it might outlast. The manual describes an automatic cleaning cycle notification, and a deliming process, but my unit must have old/bad firmware, or the manual is erroneous. I have to manually run pumps to descale. I only do that twice a year, so just an annoyance. For the milker: Rather than use the clean cycle, I remove the container, and pull the top off, removing the steam tube and running water from the sink to fully clear out the parts, shake them dry and put them together back into the fridge. I clean the reservoir twice a week, usually in the dishwasher.

I bought mine about 6 months ago, sounds like the water pump crapped out this morning...hoping for reasonable warranty service.

Malheureusement au bout de peu de temps le lait ne veut plus mousser, comme si c'était bloqué, au prix payé on s'attend que cela dure plus d'un an...

J'ai acheté une première machine qui fonctionne très bien. Après quelques mois le filtre panier a dosette double bloque. Impossible de le nettoyer. Impossible de recommander le fitre à 7$, qui est en Back Order depuis 3 ans J'ai échangé la machine pour une deuxième, meme problème après quelques mois. La machine fonctionne bien' mais les filtres sont un problème jamais résolu

Fait d'excellent café et simple d'utilisation!!! La mousse est onctueuse!!
