Actually chose to toast over my gas range rather than waaaiiit for this appliance. Wow! Poor design. So despite all protest will be double-checking any further Oster brand purchases. BTW ... have owned my osterizer blender since mid-seventies, awesome old machine.

Very slow toaster

I should have paid attention to the reviews on this product. Looks great but takes a long time to toast. Have gone back to using my old toaster.

This toaster worked great, until it didn't.

This toaster worked great, until it didn't. Have only had the toaster less than a year and it suddenly stopped working one morning. It looks great and matched all the other small appliances and we loved the toast from frozen feature, just wish it lasted.

bought and returned

It's an Oster, looks great, should be fine. Nope. I should have trusted the reviews. Dried out the bread (which is diff. than toasting) because it took 4 minutes to brown. My old GE I am replacing is 2 1/2 minutes. Plus as quite a few on-line reviews mentioned the bagel mode didn't work. Good service at CT desk - easy return.

I found this toaster takes too long to toast the bread, so the bread is dried out by the time the outside is toasted.
