No ground wire on the lights, has to be done through the mounting bolts. Can only be mounted on the rear of the lights. Not a versatile set, but they work.

A: Yes flat 4, yes 2 wires to back lights (ground wires is screwed to the trailer) Instructions on how to wire a trailer are included, and readily available online...

A: There are two machine screws that go through the housing, 2" on center, that you could use to mount it on metal or thin wood.

Q: Licence Plate Light I cannot register the trailer because, apparently, you need to have a white light shining on the licence plate. Does this kit have a white light for the plate?!?

A: The left signal light has a clear bottom on it to illuminate a licence plate hung below it. The plate mount (plastic) comes in the kit.

Q: How to secure wiring to frame? I'm wondering how you secure the wiring to the frame of the trailer. Are there retaining clips that are sold separately?

A: I doubt it. There were no gaskets between the lenses and the housing, so I don't think they'll go underwater!

A: Each light creates its own ground when mounted on metal it is only necessary to connect the white wire from the plug to a good clean spot on the front of your frame to create a ground throughout the entire metel frame. If your lights are mounted on wood or plastic which is then attached to the trailer you will have to ground each individual light to the metal frame.
