Q: why is the tail light function not working? Installed easily. Brakes, left, right and hazard function all working but no tail lights. Wired correctly according to diagram.

A: On this case, first of all, we need to test for if it is a faulty light or not. Considering it works good except for tail light, it seems like the light is fine, however: 1) Disconnect the brown wire (tail light) of the light and apply separate power to the tail the light and make sure the tail light come one. 2) If it lights up, the light is fine. The problem is, then, in the truck. A common cause of this problem may be a compromised grounding in the truck. When headlight is on, it demands lots of current. For some truck, headlight ground and trailer ground is the same, and this can make the trailer ground fight for the current when headlights are hoarding the current. When this happens, the voltage to the tail light drops so that the light is not turning on. One can check the voltage at the tail light(brown wire) with the headlight on. Sometime, this can be fixed by adding an additional ground wire from the trailer to truck, by connecting trailer frame to chassis of the truck.

Q: Trailer Lights Not Working Hi, I'm just curious, I've installed my light kit on a Hobie 16 trailer, grounded the fixtures to the existing ground locations, and am not getting any light output what so ever. What's wrong?

A: Due to the manufacturing process of the LED lights, unfortunately you are not able to purchase replacement lenses for these lights. The lens itself houses the components of the LEDs that make up the light.
