Dust everywhere

Not sure what’s going on with this litter anymore. The odour control and the clumping is fantastic, but the dust is too much and I have to wear a mask when changing the litter or scooping. What happened? I think I’ll try something else. I don’t want cancer.

Q: Is it normal for the litter to have little black pieces in it? Is that the carbon? I found a small sharp piece of what looked like broken drywall in the litter. I'm wondering if the bag broke and someone swept it off the floor and reshelved it?

A: The little black specks are normal. No idea about the other item. I have used this cat litter for quite a few years and found it very good, however lately the supposed 99% dust free claim is blatantly UNTRUE. The dust created has become a HUGE problem.
