NUK® Next Gen Pacifier, Size 2, 2-pk

I have been using Nuk since my little one was a new born. I am so glad I stumbled upon these . Before I was using other Nuk brand then I saw this it is comfortable fits perfectly for my one year old. It is easy to keep to keep them clean. My little one feels comfortable with this and we don’t go anywhere without these.

I used the Nuk pacifier for all 6 of my children and am now passing the torch to my daughter to help her have a successful breast feeding experience. Highly recommended

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 3.5 week old LOVES the NUK pacifier! It was his favorite after trying a few different brands. We were concerned that it would lead to issues with latching, but that has not been the case at all. We received this pacifier as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel, and it did not disappoint.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We received the NUK for Nature pacifier as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. I love that the product came in sustainable packaging, and that the pacifier itself is made of 100% sustainable plastic. The color and feel of the pacifier were also very ascetically pleasing. However, the nipple placement on the pacifier didn’t work for my child, and was different than all other pacifiers we have tried. On this one, the nipple is about 1/3 of the way down from the top, versus in the middle. This caused more plastic to be on the chin, which made it hard for my baby to keep it in. This caused him to be more frustrated than soothed, just since it was different than what he is used to. All in all a good product, just might be hard for your baby to use if they’ve used other types of pacifiers before.

My baby is 4 months old and had only ever used another brand and style of pacifier with a very different nipple shape, so I was worried he wouldn't take to it. However, this wasn't an issue! The body of the pacifier sits relatively flat on the face, so it's less likely baby will knock it out of his mouth accidentally. In fact, it stayed in baby's mouth for most of his nap. It was described as having a breast-like nipple shape, but I don't feel that's accurate. As you can see in the pictures, the nipple of the pacifier is long and flat, and slanted upward. While I don't feel this is nipple-shaped, it likely does contour to baby's mouth in a comfortable way (perhaps the "orthodontic" feature of the pacifier?). I appreciate that attention was given to the visual appeal of the pacifier as well. It's cute! The majority of the packaging is cardboard (with a plastic viewing window), and it was super easy to open. The pacifier itself claims to be made with 100% sustainable materials with an asterisk, however there is no reference for the asterisk to refer to, which is disappointing. There is a note on the packaging in a different section that says the pacifier is "Made with natural raw materials certified according to ISCC and REDcert2 mass-balance requirements," however, I would have preferred explanations of the sustainability of the product in layman's terms. The way the sustainability of the product is described on the packaging makes me skeptical of the actual planet-friendliness of the product. I don't like that I would have to do additional research to understand in what ways this pacifier is sustainable. Sterilization and care of the product is standard and easy, and fully explained on the packaging. Overall, we would be happy to purchase this product in the future!
