NOMA Outdoor C9 LED, Multi Colour, 5.1-m, 25-pc

We purchase these light a couple years ago and they worked well the first year but when we went to put them up the second year almost half of the 20+ strands were we purchased didn’t work. Then not long after putting them up the second year the stands started to quit working. By the third year only 3 stands still worked. We only kept them up for a little more than a month each year and stored them well. Totally waste of money.

We spent over $500 to purchase these lights for the house and they worked fine the first year. When we went to put them up the second year only half the stands didn’t worked and by the end of that season only half of those worked. When we went to put up The 3rd year only 3 stands worked. We only used them for a month each year and stored them well. What a waste of money!!!

I have purchased at least five strings of outdoor NOMA LED Christmas lights from Canadian Tire over several years. The lights themselves are attractive, and when they are new they perform well. Unfortunately, every set has failed within two to three seasons, despite being used carefully and only for about 90 days per year. The failures appear to be linked to the plug-end housing that contains the electronic driver. When this component stops working, the entire light string becomes unusable and must be thrown away, even though the LEDs themselves are still intact. This points to a design and durability issue rather than normal wear and tear. Products like these should be built to last. Customers reasonably expect seasonal outdoor lighting to function for many years, not just a couple of holiday cycles. Short product lifespans create unnecessary expense for consumers and contribute directly to avoidable electronic waste. That reflects a lack of concern for both customers and the environment. Canadian Tire has the scale and expertise to do better. Until these lights are designed to last a decade or more, I cannot recommend them. They look good out of the box, but their poor longevity undermines their value and sustainability

total garbage, lucky to get 2 seasons out of them. they will let you down . its December 25 & I have to check every string on my roof because of a fault somewhere.
