Bulbs failed after a month or so

I bought 4 of these bulbs. After using them for about a month, two of them now turn on and off sporadically. Maybe some sort of heat sensor switch? The package states "Ideal for general household use" but on the bulb itself it says not to use in enclosed fixtures. In any case, I was using in well ventilated track lighting fixtures so they should be just fine. The bulb bases get warm to the touch but not hot. Unless you enjoy wasting time and money, avoid these bulbs.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Disapointed with NOMA

I purchased eight of this bulbs, (four at Canadian Tire) about three months ago, hoping they would last for years, I decided to write a review because today the third one stopped working, 3 out of 8 it's too much or just I am not very lucky

No, I do not recommend this product.

Great bulbs!

I've been looking forever for a bulb to replace the ones that came in my Ikea fixture without having to go all the way to Ikea. Regular incandescents are blinding in the fixture, and all the other floods I've tried that fit the fixture take forever to warm up, but these ones are full brightness instantly and have a great quality of light that makes the room cheerful and is great for applying makeup in decent lighting.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Awesome LED Bulbs

These are fantastic bulbs that give off soft yellow-shade white light almost identical to regular incandescent bulbs. I even use them as recessed basement ceiling lights in place of the ceiling flood lights and they work much better, even when dimmed low, not to mention opperate without giving off a lot of heat.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Q: Why does the bulb not shut off completely? I purchased the a19 set of 2 LED bulbs that are Dimmable however it does not shut. Why?

  • A: The lights aren't turning off because they are still receiving power through the circuit. That's a problem with the dimmer. Either you aren't turning it off properly, or the dimmer doesn't have an off position. Think of the off position as "pulling the plug" on your lighting fixture. Follow instructions below: If you have a sliding dimmer, you slide the handle down to make the bulb less luminous. If the bulb hasn't shut off completely once it's slid all the way down, put a little more downward pressure on that handle; there may be a "click" and the light will shut off, which is the "off" position of the dimmer. If it doesn't have that "off" switch, it's a cheap model, and you will have to replace it. Those cheaper dimmers are designed for incandescents which will not light up under a certain wattage, but since LEDs can operate at lower wattages they stay on. If you have a rotating dimmer, there are two possibilities: push the button in to switch on and off. Or like I described above, rotate all the way and click it into off position. If neither work, it's that cheap model designed for incandescents with no mechanical off position. There's a third type of dimmer, the one with the switch and a small sliding dimmer beside it, but those are pretty obvious. You slide the mini dimmer up and down for luminosity and hit the switch for mechanical on or off. In all cases, you should replace the dimmer if it is no longer switching off, or if there is no off position. Turning off your lights rather than dimming all the way down saves money and energy since "ghost power" isn't running through the circuit. Also, it's safer, as you can shut all power going to that lighting fixture in case of fire or when you need to touch the fixture. It's like pulling the plug to make sure power is no longer going through.

  • A: Lors de l'utilisation d'ampoules DEL, il est mieux d'utiliser le gradateur 52-8219. Vous pouvez essayer d'utiliser le gradateur 6633 si vous l'avez déjà installer et remplacez-le si nécessaire.
