Folks. I am warning you don't buy these

For years Noma has been a trusted brand that our family have used, but not any more. I purchased two pack of Noma Watt Halogen bulbs (chandelier) for my daughter's ceiling fan. They come two bulbs to a pack, so of the two packs that I purchased only one bulb worked. I tested each socket for power and everything was fine so it must be the bulbs. Now I don't know if I can take the one pack back as I opened both packs to get one good one. Friends beware. If you need halogen bulbs don't use Noma.

Burned Out in One Week

I never write reviews, and I would have never thought of reading a review for a light bulb before purchase, but I just bought 4 of these Noma Halogen B10 Candelabra Base bulbs at Canadian Tire last week. My chandelier takes 3 bulbs so I installed 3, and this week, 2 out of those 3 are burned out. Not impressed. I agree that Canadian Tire should verify the quality of this item.

Long Life, Great light

Purchased 6 of these three years ago for a new kitchen light fixture. Surprised to see the other reviews experience short life. Mine were used daily - often for extended periods of time and all 6 are still working beautifully. Had to look them up on the website to double-check their wattage. Although I love them and have lasted much longer than I expected, it makes sense for me to replace them for something much more efficient. Burning 6 x 43W in a heavily used light fixture is just way too much. I purchased 13W energy efficient lights that get the job done just as well!

Expect brilliant light with a very low life

Like the previous review, these lamps look great for a few months but have a very short life. I bought them new last summer and only used them on the weekends for a half dozen hours maximum every other weekend. In other words, about 26 weekends times 6 hours yields 156 total hours use. At such little usage I would have expected them to last me years, not months. I think Canadian Tire should review the quality control on this product and accomodate customers who have experienced similar problems.

Worst Lamps Ever

Had 14 of these burn out in the last year and a half. They look nice but only last about two months. To their credit, Globe sent us a large quantity of replacements but they are just about all gone. Meanwhile, a number of other Halogen lamps purchased years ago are still burning brightly after much more use. Avoid these unless you like throwing money away. Note in the description that these have no warranty, probably for a good reason.
