Well worth it

Bought this 6 years ago for my basement. Just gave out recently since it’s been running 24/7. Called Noma support since a code E2 showed up. Technical support couldn’t tell me what sensor was throwing it. Totally useless.
Yes, I recommend this product.

Died after two years

We used it for two summers. Then after that, the fan is spinning and we can hear the compressor running, but it's not collecting any water. Avoid!

Noma 60 Pint

I purchased this dehumidifier in Sept 2017. I just turned it on recent and it is not working. The fan runs and compressor but not collecting any water and the humidity levels are high. I have to say I am very disappointed in this product. I believe this is the second or third dehumidifier that I have purchased in the last 6 to 8 years. Do not purchase this unit it is basically junk.

Noma 60 pint dehumidifier

Purchased June 24 2016. Worked great during year one. Not a drop since then. Tried many times to draw moisture but only blows air. Going in the recycle pickup next week.

Q: where to get a proper fitting hose that will fit thru that too small an opening
hose head ( no pun) hard to find that will fit thru the side opening
9 years ago
1 Answer
A: Hello: In these units, you would need to cut the opposite end of the hose off and feed that through the side opening, then you could attach the appropriate hose coupling to the threaded spout on the unit.
If you wanted to, you could purchase a replacement coupling for one that was cut off…

Q: what is the best setting to use for my unit in my basement?? I want is to turn on and shut off on its own when needed. thanks
I have yet to turn it on but want to know the best setting to use. the unit is in the basement and just want to know the best setting to use to have it turn on and off when it is needed.
thanks

1 Answer
A: The setting depends on how dry you want your basement.
In General a setting of 40 (40% humidity) is good, in the manual setting mode, with medium fan speed.
Depending on how much humidity is in your basement, a setting of 40 will result in a full bucket of water every day.
