Works very well, but impossible to clean inside the outside part

... because the shell/case is not removable. And there are many openings / slots for air flow on all sides and the top of the shell, which means a lot of dust and debris accumulated. I can only hope that the accumulated dirt won't somehow stop the machine from working.

Worked good right out of box. Instructions were clear. Haven't had it long enough to give 5 stars. We'll see how it performs this summer.

Loud and leaking inside the house

We started our second year with it no issues on the first but in the middle a year to right now Aug. 2020. NONE STOP WATERFALL INSIDE THE HOUSE! we drilled holes in the piece that is outside cleaning the hole thing and 20mins still water coming into the house. And this wasn't like a 3 times incidents this was ever time we had it on...I was able to fill up a glass in 5mins. And if you turn it off there is even more water coming the the house...
For the $$$ Never again.....

A: The noise is based on the speed of the fan, rather than the night(sleep) function. Sleep mode is more for an auto temperature adjustment at night. If you press the sleep mode button, the target temperature will automatically increase by 2F in 30mins and increase 2F in another 30mins and remains to new temperature for 6 hours and then returns to the originally selected temperature.

Q: Bought this last year, worked great. This year it keeps filling with water, even after adjusting the tilt backwards. Middle of a heat wave and I have to keep turning it off to pour out the water. How can I prevent this?

A: The water mostly comes from the water vapor in the air. It will get better as the humidity changes. Setting a higher temperature or high fan speed can also help.
