Seems to work ok, but i didn't realize the connection is not a standard SAE two wire connection, so it's not compatible with all my other charger alligator clamps. Also, with the unit plugging directly into an outlet, it takes up space and a lot less handy than one that has a cord that plugs in.

Q: I am storing a car for the winter. I do not want to remove the battery terminals for fear that it will throw of the computer which basically operates the car. Can I just attach it to to the battery terminals while they are attached to the battery posts?

  • A: Yes, it you accidentally connect to your battery in reverse, you will get a fault indicator and no power will be transmitted.
