Cool but frustrating

I echo the other reviews about how significantly frustrating it is to figure out how to get the cap off to charge this cool little lantern. I came to the website looking for instructions and found absolutely zero information listed under instructions, about how to access the charging port. So I stuck a pen in there and was eventually able to pry it open. Over time I’m sure this will impact how well the cover fits. Have yet to try it out in the real world but like the idea!!

Does the job, but inconvenient

Bought the product 2 months ago - as others have noted the primary issue is that the cover is almost impossible to remove to recharge. The only reliable way I have found is to use a screwdriver and pliers - I have asked 3 rock-climbing friends to get this thing open, and you know their hand strength - all failed. Getting the cover back on requires so much strength I'm convinced I'm about to break it. All that said - the light is just the right intensity for the use case and the solution is strong and very light weight. While I find the colors a bit of a gimmick and would prefer variable brightness the red is very useful for protecting night vision. A QR code linking to a page of real instructions would be appreciated rather than the attempt at minimalist instructions printed on the packaging - I found them incomplete and unintuitive. That said - does it work? Yup - and it works well. I just wish it was more refined.

Sweet little light

Great little lights. I use them while camping out of my truck cap, lights up the back perfectly. Hangs above the tailgate nicely for commando cooking. If you have arthritis avoid as the cap as stated in the other reviews is tight. The cap is not complicated and when applied it feels like it’s not going to fail if it gets caught in a downpour. The light is exactly what it’s supposed to be.
