Good workhorse but

Very loud, especially for an apartment building, I was very conscious about when I would use it … no early morning smoothies. I found the glass jug very heavy too. Good capacity & the multi-layered blades gave good consistent results. Lots of power. Good controls. The base is easy to clean. BUT the lid is now locked on, rendering the unit useless … beyond time limit Can Tire warranty. This is too expensive for such a stupid flaw.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Love, love, love! Expensive, but worth every penny! Blends in seconds, even frozen fruit and ice. We use our every day for smoothies and acai bowls.

Pitcher cracks after few months - cheap garbage

Lasted 6 months and pitcher cracked as other reviews mentioned. Cheap cheap useless product. Warranty is a year - so spent an hour on email and phone and they THEN tell you it doesn't cover "normal wear and tear which is using the pitcher once a month apparently! Spend a but more and get a product that lasts Oh an a replacement pitcher is the same price as the new blender! :)

Overall pretty impressed with the Ninja professional Blender 1000. Recently moved in to a new apartment so I’ve spent the last few months trying out a bunch of appliances and It’s safe to say Ninja is my new favorite. I was used to our vitamix blender at home but wanted something a bit more budget friendly. It has plenty of power and looks sleek on the countertop! The lid has a secure lid lock thing that sounds like a good idea but it honestly makes opening it much more complicated than it needs to be.
