Easy setup and roomy.

I just got this for my F150 with 5.5 box. I do have a tonneau cover (hard trifold)and tried to install with it on. It can somewhat work but I feel put a lot of pressure on the poles. So I took it off and it worked fine. I installed it by myself. It takes a little practice and adjusting the side straps with putting the poles in and up.
It does appear to have a lot of room inside once up. I don’t have it looking like some videos online which helped but it is easier than I thought and with some practice it goes up rather quickly and folds up nicely. When it’s packed up the bag in its self is small and takes up very space.
I’m looking forward to using it regularly.

Poor poles

This is my second purchase of a bavkroadz. Both purchases had the poles break. The first purchase had the metal sleeves open up and slit my tent fabric open. The second purchase had a better metal sleeve but the fiberglass poles spit in half and tore the tent fabric. As I use a tent regularly I would not recomend this tent for regular repeated use. The poles are absolute junk, and will destroy the rest of the tent. I will not buy a third. There are tents of the same style out there with aluminum poles. Should be much better. Having said that the rest of the tent is great. Holds up to rain and wind and even snow. To bad for the poles they have lost a customer

A: Hi there, Thank you for reaching out! Start by measuring your cab with the tailgate up, this is designed to fit a Dodge Ram that has a 6.4'-6.5' bed. If you measure 5.5'-5.6' you would want the Full Size Short Bed (Product number 034-0184). If you measure 8'-8.1' you would need the Full Size Long Bed (Product number 034-0189). A: The specs on the carrier bag indicate which vehicles they will fit. We had a Toyota Tundra which fit the large size. Now have a Tacoma that takes the small size. I think the trucks you mention would have large boxes so probably the large would fit. You could ask staff at C. Tire or check online to compare box measurements. Great tent!

A: Hi there, Thank you for your inquiry. In order to be the most accurate, it is best to measure with the tailgate up. This may still work for you as the Full Size Long Bed Tent is made for bed lengths 8'-8.1' (with tailgate up). If the bed with the tailgate up is 6.4'-6.5' you would want to purchase the Full Size Regular Tent (SKU 0340183) and if it is 5.5'-5.6' you would want the Full Size Short Bed Tent (SKU 0340184).
