    Purchased new gas cap and once installed, gas cap warning and check engine light came on. Cleared error and tried tightening gas cap and same thing occurred. Product number says compatible with my vehicle. Unfortunate I threw away the box and can’t return.

    Worked fantastically. Since I'd lost the key to my locking gas cap and I quickly, via Google, learned to bypass key to open it, i bought this non-locking gas cap and it works great.

    My old 2000 Mazda B3000 pickup has had the check engine light on for a few months. Local repair shop suggested I could try one of 2 things. Replace the gas cap with a new one which would have a better seal for about $15 or there is a device in the emissions system that they could replace for about $300 but no guarantees. Obvious choice though. Gas cap solved the issue. The old one was about 27 years old. Thanks Canadian Tire.
