Great storage shelf for heavy tires

The shelf is very sturdy. It may need a light hammer to assemble and it may be a little bit stiff, but it's stable and good quality for storing heavy tires. I recommend this product.

Shelf is sturdy and having adjustable options was paramount for my SUV tire size.
For the reviews that say it just falls apart and is very unstable, I'm betting they missed the instruction to use a rubber mallet to notch the pins in place. It's totally fine.

Easy build, good quality

Bought this stand since I didn’t want to drill anything into the wall. Was easy to build but definitely needed a rubber mallet. Once the lower segment was built I added the two tires to measure the right gap for the next level and it was done. Took maybe 15 mins start to finish.

This product is not fit to be sold. It lacks stability. You can't put it together without damaging the product. The metal is not fit for constructing. I can't return because I've damaged it trying to put it together. Not worth the money and Canadian Tire should be removing this from shelves. This is also a safety concern.
No, I do not recommend this product.

A: Regrettably, we do not recommend the MotoMaster Tire Storage Shelves to hold the specified tires. This rack is able to hold tires up to 265/50/R19. However, a rack that would best suit the specified tires is the MotoMaster Wall Mount Tire Rack (009-0078).

Q: Can you secure it to the wall for extra security?

A: While the design does not intend for this MotoMaster tire rack to be secured to the wall nor would we suggest it is necessary, we do believe the interlocking configuration of the rack should not have any issues with being secured to a wall by the upright posts so long as the rack is on a level surface and the uprights are 100% plumb to the wall. Additionally, we believe you may have success with aligning the uprights to 12" or 24" OC framed walls. Share pictures and let us know how it goes!

Q: It is 48" wide, does it fit two sets of tires? Or is it designed to fit one set, two on bottom and two on top rack? Just other racks that mount on the wall that you sell are 48" wide and all 4 tires are side by side.

A: The MotoMaster Adjustable Tire Storage Shelves have a usable width of 22 1/4" (56.5 cm) and it designed to accommodate one set of four tires (two on top, two on bottom), not two sets of eight tires. It is not 48" wide.
