Very useful positioning dollies but be aware the rollers are made of plastic

Purchased these to do the twice annual tire/rim swaps on our vehicles. Having two also allowed me to move our boat in our garage. The dollies took minutes to assemble and seem well built. My only concern is the longevity of the 12" rollers, as they are made of plastic, ergo my deduction of a star.

A: The dolly’s are for moving your vehicle around the shop, you put them under the tire and jack them up , all 4 at once so you can move it without starting it. They are not for jacking the body up and removing your wheels.

Q: The specifications states Maximum Weight Capacity 1000-3999 lbs why such huge range? will it fit on a truck 20 inch tire? Thank you

A: number 1 this does not fit ON a tire the vehicle sits on it for sideways ;movement or forward

A: No. You need to get the tire off the ground with a jack. Once you have the tire just off the ground, these are FANTASTIC for handling the wheel and tire assembly. You can move the wheel and tire around easily, rotate the wheel to align studs or lug bolts, and adjust up and down. The up/down adjustment is pretty coarse, I sometimes adjust height with my floor jack. I bought a pair of these, and sold one, since I don't plan to use them for the intended purpose of moving vehicles or trailers around.

A: Mechanical mechanism, with a flip lever to either be in the compression mode to bring the rollers together and raise the tire up, or flip it and the two arms will move apart. The red arm activates the lifting mechanism using a bar ratchet.
