Q: Can I install these side by side, so that the middles share the same stud? (Essentially making one long rack)

Q: Can this be used for 4 wheels of 275/35 R22 on rims? Can it be mounted in a concrete wall?
4 years agoA: The folable tire rack 2-pk includes two tire rack, and one tire rack is enough to carry 4 wheels of 275/35 R22 if total weight is less 300lb. The model number for one piece tire rack is 009-1518. It can be mounted in a concrete wall, but the mounting hardware need to change to expansion bolts for concrete (not included). thanks.

Q: Are both racks adjustable between 32" and 48" wide?? Your answer to question 2 above seems to say both are adjustable. If one is fixed at 32" then my tires will not fit.
5 years agoA: Yes, both included tire racks are fully adjustable between 32-inches and 48-inches. The crossbars are telescopic to allow for the adjustability range, not fixed at 32-inches or 48-inches. When installing, it is important to note your installation will likely be 32-inches or 48-inches to ensure the rack is secured to a framed wall with 16-inches stud spacing. This rack must be installed to wood framing. It is not suitable for installation to drywall with anchors.

Q: Can I mount two racks above each other The wall is made of 2x4 wall is 8'x8: Bother tires are on rims and are 18" Want to mount one rack 1' off the floor and second rack above it
5 years agoA: I had 16" tires was able to mount one above the other directly in 2x4 wall studs. Don't know for 18" though.....

Q: Does the 48" tire rack expand from 32" to 48" or can I only use it as a 48" rack? I need two 32" racks. Thanks.
5 years agoA: The MotoMaster Foldable Tire Racks can be positioned between 32" and 48" (81.2 and 121.9 cm) (centre to centre) apart.

Q: Can I stack the two of these on the same pair of studs? If not can I possibly add a cross brace underneath that's connected to more studs for more support in order to stack the two racks?
5 years agoA: The MotoMaster Foldable Tire Rack, 2-pk has a maximum weight capacity of 300 lbs (136 kg) per rack. Since the wall and stud specifications were not provided our product experts do not recommend stacking two tire racks on the same pair of studs.

5 years agoA: This MotoMaster folding tire rack allows the shelf to fold down; the rear part of the shelf will slide up the frame secured to the wall and the shelf will fall in a downwards position.

Anonymous5 years agoA: Not enough information was provided for us to be able to confirm. However, we can disclose that this tire rack has a total usable width of 48" and can fit tires up to 76cm in overall diameter (tire and wheel). Please keep in mind that each tire rack has a 300lb load limit.

Q: If I understand this correct, the 32" tire rack will only fit a set of tires smaller than 205/xx/xx and the 48" rack will fit a set of tires smaller than 305/xx/xx. If that is the case, the 32" rack is pretty much useless. Please confirm.
6 years agoA: Thank you for the concern, however our records indicate that there are over 3.4 million vehicles on the road in Canada with overall tire widths below 200mm and the tire size P195/65R15 is the third most common tire size on our roads. The 32” width is more that adequate for these consumers and having an option to assemble a smaller diameter rack is a great space-saving feature.
