A: If you don't have access to a scan tool or a memory saver, leaving the car sit for a minimum of 24 hours without any battery attached will also reset the car's computer memory of the previous battery (and any pre-existing codes it already has), allowing it to register the new battery without creating new codes. After having done this myself, the only thing I had to do was to set the clock and whatever radio settings I had.
Note: Even though any pre-existing codes will be reset, unless you fix whatever caused them to begin with, they will return once you start driving the car again.

Q: Is a higher CCA rating safe to use?
I'm considering this battery for my Audi A4 2008 2.0T. The original battery has cold cranking amps CCA of 640, whereas this battery is much higher. Is this battery still recommended (any danger of damaging the alternator)? Thanks
A: You can never have to many CCA (Cold Cranking Amp), especially when it's -40C. The battery is 12 Volts, and if ot fits that all that matters, a battery having more CCA just means it has more current in the battery to help turn over the engine. For over 40 years I have always bought the largest CCA battery that I can fit in the car, my old Taurus had a larger battery but way less CCA,, so I bought a size 34 battery with 1000 CCA instead of the old 520 CCA. That car was terrible below -25C, but once I got the new battery it always started great, even below-40C. This is one time the say "Go big, or go home" is really true.

Q: Does the battery come with the height adaptor because I have an is300 and it uses a Group 24 battery but Canadian tire says the group 34 one is okay to use.
A: No it does not. You really should take measurements of your old battery, because the group 34 while an inch shorter is also a bit wider, and does not come with the same cca. Definitely take measurements.
A: There are only three manufacturers of car batteries in North America. This battery is a corvus battery which is same make as what Jeep would supply you with. If you do not believe me take a picture of battery and go compare them they are exactly the same except for the stickers
A: Probably, since it fits my old Acura -- but ask Canadian Tire -- they will be able to tell you definitively.

Q: How do I return my battery for warranty purposes? I bought a MOTOMASTER OEPLUS Group Size 47 (H5/L2) Battery, 650 CCA for my Toyota and the other day my car did not start. My battery no longer holds a charge at 12.6 V. My battery is currently at 12.2 V.
A: Hi Bens, at 12.2 volts your battery should still start your car. As a battery ages it does loose it’s ability hold it’s charge like when new. That said your battery comes with a 5 year warranty all you need is remove the battery from your car and bring it to your nearest Canadian Tire auto parts service desk. They will test your battery and if it fails they will give you a new battery. Then you just need to install the new battery in your car. Now for the bad news… these batteries are garbage and you will find that you will need to replace roughly every year. I bought mine in Dec 2019 and have had to replaced it 3 times now. Hope this helps.
