Q: Reviews are 8 years old have they fixed the issue
7 years agoA: These batteries are sold un-activated. Battery acid (included in the box) must be added and an initial charge applied per the instructions included. Failing to allow the acid to absorb and/or applying an improper initial charge can greatly impact battery life. More importantly, the charge (in any lead acid battery) must be maintained during storage or the battery will sulphate.
