    Terrible product

Same problem as others. Battery did not last even though i had a trickle charger on it through winter.

    Very Disappointed

This battery replaced an OEM battery. I chose the battery for the increased cranking amps, and more importantly the maintenance free aspect. It’s difficult to get to the battery, and visually checking the fluid levels is not a 5 second job. I filled the battery as per the instructions. I fully charged it after it was filled. It was installed 3 days later. I keep an automatic trickle charger on the battery when it’s sitting for periods of time... I never want to have a no start issue. 10 months after the battery was purchased it’s totally dead. Go figure. Save yourself the aggravation (and extra dollars) and stay away from this battery. I have gone back to a conventional battery and it’s still going strong 24 months later.

No, I do not recommend this product.

    Worst battery ever

This battery is garbage. I have to purchase one every spring, I too am on my third in as many riding seasons. Just after the warranty is up, the battery quits. I had an Eliminater in my car and it was great, so I thought that maybe I just got a bad one or two. Its quite apparent now however as I read the other review that this is a common problem with these batteries as i see exactly the same issues.

No, I do not recommend this product.

    Do Not Buy

These batteries are garbage. Went through three of these within five years. The last one only lasted 7 months. I bought the last one in sept of 09,worked find, stored it for the winter and this spring, now march of 2010 the battery has no liquid in it and is coming up as replace battery. Worst preformance ever. These only have a six month warrenty and I now know why.

No, I do not recommend this product.

    Questions

    1 - 1 of 1 Question

Q: Reviews are 8 years old have they fixed the issue

    1 Answer
    • A: These batteries are sold un-activated. Battery acid (included in the box) must be added and an initial charge applied per the instructions included. Failing to allow the acid to absorb and/or applying an improper initial charge can greatly impact battery life. More importantly, the charge (in any lead acid battery) must be maintained during storage or the battery will sulphate.
