Q: Do I need to remove the battery from the car? Acid is around the connectors. Is it as easy as it looks?
a year agoA: I just used it right on the connectors, but if you can take the connectors off with a wrench, and clean one at a time, it will work better to get the corrosion off between the connector and battery post.

Q: Electrical Contact Cleaner? Would this be considered a good contact cleaner for corroded electrical fuses in the engine bay of a car? I've looked through the Ct website for a specific electrical cleaner and I'm surprised I haven't found one.
13 years agoA: Unless they have discontinued it, Canadian Tire does sell an electrical contact cleaner (provided by another company) under the Motomaster brand that would be more appropriate to use than the Motomaster battery cleaner.
