Don's use it over 5 mins, heat damage your car.

I used this compressor for regular checked all 4 tires on my new car, each tire need air from 28 PSI to 33 PSI, first 3 tires seems ok, half way for my last tire this compressor stop running, and I checked my car plugin socket looks like melt in the center contact point, and the compressor connector was very very HOT. I check all fuses my car seems ok, I believed that it melt internal wiring of my car because of high temperature, I may need high price fix my car. NOT recommend the product. The design is not for more then 5 mins !!!

No, I do not recommend this product.

    Cheaply made product

I have used it for, at most 14 times over about two years. Plug in made of thin plastic which broke and made it unusable, even though product still looks brand new. Has not come near to paying for itself.

    Air compressor 12 V

Bought this unit to inflate my tires when changing from summer to winter tires, so very rare use. First time used, unit ran for about one minute, than I was not able to restart it. You could hear clicking inside the unit when switch activated, but it would not start again. Returned it for exchange hoping it was a fluke. Second unit ran for about 3 minutes, then it stopped and I was not able to restart it, just like the 1st one. Returned it again, 3rd unit did not even start. Returned it again for 4th unit, same problem. So I had to pump my tires at the end by my bicycle pump, also purchased at CT. But the light on the compressor worked beatifully.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Q: My MotoMaster 12V Direct Drive Drive air compressor has power, but won't turn on. Am I doing something wrong?

    1 Answer
    • A: There are two possible reasons your MotoMaster air compressor will not start: (1) If the pre-set tire pressure setting is set to a PSI that is lower than the air pressure currently in your tire, the compressor will not start. Try lowering the pre-set pressure setting using the up (+) / down (-) buttons and then start the pump. (2) If the inflator detects low voltage from the power source, the inflator may not start to conserve the battery of your vehicle for starting the vehicle. Try starting the vehicle first, and then start the inflator while the motor of your vehicle is running.
