The Mothers CMX Surface Prep Car Cleaner Spray in 710 ml, is crucial for optimal adhesion before applying any ceramic coating, sealant, or wax. This pH neutral cleaner effectively removes old waxes, stubborn oils, grease, and fillers, along with polishing residue, using biodegradable grease-cutting surfactants and solvents. It can be safely used on any exterior vehicle surface, including paint, glass, trim, wheels, and tires, and in body shop environments due to its silicone-free formula. Simply spray on and wipe off, and CMX Surface Prep will leave a clean, residue-free, and anti-static/dust-resistant surface, ready for coating.

Easy application and removal

I purchased this to help with a full exterior detail of a new used car I purchased (2011). It was easily applied and removed. Hard to know how good a job it did because it was followed with a clay/nano pad to remove other impurities in the clear coat.

Had applied too much Wax and had a lot of haze showing. After using this product as directed on the bottle I was able to visibly see the excess wax being removed and my car was left exceptionally clean leaving me ready to use their CMX Clear Coat. Very happy with the value, quality, and ease of use.
