I don’t find this much different than the non- kids version. The kids was on sale so bought it. Went through plenty of bug spray this summer camping and this did the trick as well or better than much harsher and smellier deet sprays.

Still got bitten by mosquitoes. No matter how much I bathed my kids in this, they got bitten all over their bodies. I changed to using 'Off' and it helped much better than this one.

Best bug spray out there, even for black flies

I finally found Picaradine and it's wonderful. Very light scent, no greasy feel, forget you're wearing it. Keeps away black flies and mosquitoes. Wish I'd found this years ago. Won't ever have to wear DEET again. Yay!!!

A: Picaridin appears to have a wide margin of safety when used on dogs but there are no products specifically licensed for use on dogs that I am currently aware of.
