Looks nice but flawed design

Looks like high quality and looks nice but we've had trouble with the faucet randomly turning on when no one is anywhere near the faucet. It also does a poor job holding a steady temperature especially at low flows. I would not get the motionsense again since we really don't use or need that feature and it seems to decrease the function of the unit.

The brushed gold is a beautiful color! The motion sense works amazing and is very convenient. The installation was an easier than expected. Instructions were clear and didn’t have any issues.

Terrible design flaw renders the faucet useless.

If the battery that powers the touchless function dies, the faucet is inoperable. That's right. No water. Completely useless. For clarification, the loss of battery does not just render the touch-less function inoperable, it renders the entire faucet inoperable. No water even if you use the lever. It really blows my mind a product with such obvious design flaws could come to market from an established brand like MOEN. It's especially fustrating given I considered several less expensive alternatives that looked similar but eventually opted for this more expensive model from MOEN because MOEN was a more reputable brand and I didn't want to run into troubles down the road. Obviously this was a massive mistake I now regret. ** Especially given we now occasionally airBNB the house. It's a constant battle.

We are sorry to hear that you were unaware that the Moen 5923EWSRS Align Pre-Rinse Spring MotionSense/Wave pull-down kitchen faucet required a power source to operate both the sensor and the manual handle. The faucet comes with a battery holder and the 6-AA non-rechargeable, alkaline batteries required for operation. There is also a Moen MotionSense AC Adapter with power splitter, part number 169031 that will allow the faucet to be ran on the power in your home. The batteries would only be used in the event of a power outage. Moen product specialists are available for pre-purchase, installation, and warranty assistance. They can be reached at 1-800-289-6636 and are available Monday through Friday from 8:00 am – 7:00 pm Eastern Time.

Love the ease of use and sleek design. The ability to just wave your hand to turn it on and off along with the length of hose to rinse down the sink

No water flow

I woke up this morning and I can't get the water to come out of the faucet. I have changed batteries tried the reset, nothing. Stops are on everything was working last night.
