Q: In the description, this product is described as a foam, but mine comes out of the bottle as a clear liquid and I don't see anything on the bottle describing it as a foam. Should it be coming out as a foam or a liquid?

A: Miracle-Gro Indoor Plant Food Foam has a minimum shelf life of 3 years when stored properly. Products will generally be viable for 5 - 8 years after purchase.

Q: I have just planted some chive seeds and instructions state use weak fertilizer once sprouted. Is this a good one for that? Or can you suggest one?

A: This product is great for fertilizing indoor plants growing in a soil type mixture. We do not suggest using it to fertilize plants growing directly in water or vases, like a lucky bamboo.
