Don't buy this product in a tube!

Do not buy this in a tube. It is almost impossible to get the stuff to come out! Perhaps this was on the shelf in the store for too long.

Cannot be preserved

I used it on wood. It pretty much filled up the holes like it said it would. The only problem is after you're done using it for the first time. If there's any left in the tube it pretty much goes to waste. I followed the instructions to save what was left over and within 3 days it pretty much dried up in the tube. It was all hard. I couldn't put it in anything. It wouldn't come out of the tube correctly. If you use it entirely then it's a great product to have. I'm giving it two stars because of the fact that it dried out that fast

VERY POOR stainability

I thought Minwax guaranteeing satisfaction meant the product would meet the description. Wrong.
Every spot I used this stainable wood filler stands out like a sore thumb.
I was using Red Mahogany stain and on the wood filler spots it looks like I was using Golden Oak. It's about 10 shaded lighter on the wood filler.
Resoundingly disappointed in the product. I won't be using it again.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Gritty Marshmallow Fluff

My container of Carpenters Wood Filler was used up and this was the replacement Winwax product. It's not even close! This stuff is complete junk, almost like gritty marshmallow fluff. It's not at all like the Carpenters, which was a solid, thick paste.
