[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] 2nd Endura Max 4th Minnkota Last Endura Max Lasted 6 yrs--Ended up 1 speed forward and 1 speed reverse. Motor provides excellent control for low speed trolling. Survives lots of rough use. It is the only thing like it on the market.

Wonderful TEMPORARY motor

I am about to buy my third endura max. It's always the same thing, the motor takes on water. It would be WONDERFUL if Minn Kota decided to make a more durable seal system for their motors. Why am I buying another one? Because nobody else makes a better product that I can tell.

Great features but needs to last longer

Just bought a new one to replace the exact same model that just gave up on me, I’m hoping I’ll have better luck with this new one. My previous one was 5 years old and worked fine until a couple years ago I had to send it away for bearing and seal replacement. This year it randomly starts up at full speed which resulted in me almost going overboard into freezing water then it finally totally quit which resulted in a long row back to the boat launch. It did work great for a long time so I’m hoping the new replacement will last longer.

Q: The specs say 2 V - I assume that is a typo and it's supposed to say 12V? Also - why does it say 2-stroke? That is for gas powered motors. This is electric. What am I missing?
