Bad idea.

Does not work. This seat is not safe at all. My 6yr old child would never be safe in this seat in a car accident.

The little booster that could.

These really are a great tight, super-portable solution. My 10y old still uses it as a regular booster in the front seat, my 7y old on occasion when all 3 need to ride in the back of our compact EV. We have used them while traveling in Europe, when the two were 7 and 4. Compact, light, safe, great value for the money, especially if you can grab one on sale. Only minor negative aspect is that it not being a height booster, small kids don't see as well out the back window, especially with modern car design using up-swooping window lines.

Not safe!

I bought this car seat for traveling purposes and thankfully tried it out before hand. I found it extremely difficult to get the seat belt into the belt positioner handle, then trying to get the seatbelt back off and out of the handle was equally challenging and took a full minute! If I cannot easily remove my child from a car seat, I do not find it a safe product in an emergency situation. Not a safe product!

No, I do not recommend this product.

Best thing ever

I read the other review. I did not experience anything coming unclipped at all. I bought 2 of those and i am going to get two more for the other car. They are not the easiest for the kid to put through, but it takes an adult under a minute. My kids are just over 40 pounds and everything looks perfect when they're in it. The seat belts are exactly where they should be.
