Not strong enough as paint roller extension

I bought one of these to use as an extension pole for my paint roller. I never got round to actually painting with it, because on my second test stroke the plastic screw thread broke off, leaving me with an unattachable broomstick. I was not exerting too much power -- not at all.
Avoid this product and invest in a more expensive aluminum pole instead.
No, I do not recommend this product.

I've bought three of these over the years- two are now replacement broom handles and the other one is used as an extension pole to screw into my roller brush for painting ceilings or other hard to reach surfaces. Strong and dependable!
