I needed to erect a quick chicken wire fence to keep my new puppy out of the garden and flower beds. These posts were sturdy, easy to pound into the ground and the little latches made attaching the chicken wire fence easy. Excellent product!

Q: If the posts are 4' tall and you have to bang them into the ground with a hammer, what is the best height of chickenwire to buy?

A: The Posts are 4' but I would recommend 36" chicken wire because the top of the flange to the bottom is almost a foot. You have 3' of usable post once the post has been pounded or pushed into the ground.
