I have had this saw for a long time .I have used it to cut everything from wood trim to fiber cement, metal, masonry, and even paneling. This saw has never let me down and still works like new.

Very fine saw.

This saw was exactly what I needed. Light weight, easy to adjust and powerful. I replaced an aging Porter Cable that was heavier and harder to adjust.

Quality, affordability and easy to use

I have never owned or even used a circular saw before, so I did a lot of research before buying one. I looked at the reviews, compared prices, and felt that the Metabo saw suited my needs and my budget. I am very impressed with the quality and the performance, and it is surprisingly lightweight. I am a small woman and a senior citizen and I am very pleased with how easy it is to carry and use.

Questions

1 - 1 of 1 Question

Q: will it cut through wood with embedded nails

1 Answer
  • A: Yes, it will. But the blade will dull quickly and may be damaged. I would save the blade that comes with the saw and purchase a carbide tipped blade designed for nails embedded in wood. Or, purchase an economy blade that you can sacrifice and recycle after use.
