Does NOT react to sound or sync to music.

+ very bright and nice effect if you ignore the fact it doesn't work as advertised
+ can cover the ceiling of a small room with rotating red, green, and blue spots of light
- not suitable for use in a car despite advertising on box (light is blindingly bright if it catches you in the eye even in daylight, plus there's a warning on box and in manual not to use while driving)
- there is no "sound sync mode" (does not react to sound at all) as advertised on the box
- all the lights are constantly on with no variation in speed or intensity (no flashing, blinking, or fading)
- no on/off switch (must unplug to turn off)
It's a shame it doesn't work as advertised but I can envision plugging this in during a party so it's not a complete ripoff; that said, this would be average value from a dollar store product.
