A: No. Dremels lack the power to use 4.5" (or really anything larger than 1.5"). Even if you could rig an adaptor it would stall at the lightest touch.

A: It works fine on my 4 1/2 angle grinder. Try turning the washer around, or try a different washer.

Q: My grinders manual says to only use type 27 wheels. These are type 1 I know, but I'm wondering if it really matters?

A: It can be used as long as the size and the arbor size of the cutting disc matches that of the grinders, please wear safety protection, do not use if the cutting disc is damaged.
