Only got it because it was discounted. My Stanley fat maxes are my go-to tapes. This one was hardly used. Then today working on a project at home, it was closest one available so grabbed it. Went to pull out the tape a bit and suddenly tape starts coming out of the case. Took it apart and spindle in middle is broken. Absolute horrible quality. My Stanley's have ten times the use in same time period, have been dropped at height, and are still going strong. Oh, and my Stanleys are 4 and 5 yrs old. Shame on me for thinking Maximum was a step above the Mastercraft brand.

No, I do not recommend this product.

WORST TAPE EVER, LASTED 4 HRS

by far the worst tape i ever bought, the aluminum riveted part that holds the hook at the beginning of the tape got caught in the open finger stopper section when it retracted, rendering it useless, i used it 10 times, for how much this tape costs, worst tape, do not buy this, i've never had a tape break on me before, sub-par
