Questions

1 - 3 of 3 Questions

Q: How Do You Get Blades To Lock In? I am pleased with my knife but there are no instructions and I can't get the blade to stay in. I can see the little "X" button, but that is to eject the blade. The metal thumb thing on top only seems to advance the blade. How do I lock the blade in?

  • A: Push in the small button just at the front of the handle, and while this is pushed in carefully push in the blade until it bottoms out. This needs to be done with the slide for extending the blade to be fully forward/out. Once the blade bottoms out, release the small push button. Wiggle the blade carefully until you feel something click - the blade will be seated and locked in.

1 Answer

Q: I purchaced your Maximum snap off knife with the refill cartridge, when l try to load a new blade from the cartridge, the blades keep feeding out 2 at a time, also, how would l refill the cartridge once it's empty? Thanks. Joe

1 Answer
  • A: If the blades are coming out two at a time, it could be a result of the anti-corrosion oil on the blades making them stick together. To refill the cartridge, there is a button that opens it and allows you to load new blades.
