    Not carbide

    The title and description of these online say they are carbide, but, as I discovered when I gave these to someone as a present, the actual set doesn't say carbide anywhere. Given that one of the bits came broken, I'd have to say that these are not only not carbide, but also not very good. Will be returning.

    No, I do not recommend this product.

    This Impact magnetic drill bit set is not Magnetic at all. I bought it as a father's day gift and had to return it because it is not what it claims to be. I was really disappointed.

    • A: These bits have a carbide coating but are NOT high quality. I would suggest gently chipping the hard ceramic surface with a sharp point before drilling.
