Great quality

Very well built, came well packaged with nothing amiss. Tested it out lifting my tool chest. Worked perfect, Will be pulling the flathead out of 41 soon for the real test. Canadian Tire was great to deal with. Thank you

Versatile and Quality Construction

Great build quality. Have used it to move a small car body in the shop. Will use on engines this summer. Was able to get the body up high as when the boom is fully extended it will go almost to 8 feet.

Solid and compact.

Folds up to less than 1/2 the floor space when operating - it easily maneuvers when folded using the middle wheels. I didn't get any assembly instructions but easy to assemble just by looking at the picture on the box and using a little common sense. Even though I won't be lifting the maximum rated weight, I'll still be able to lift most of what I work on, around 400-500 lbs, at full reach which is very important to me.

Solid unit and does job well. Hook can be smaller or even provide chain . But good enough anyway

Questions

Q: Are the middle base wheels suppose to touch the floor when the fold down extension legs are down and pinned? My middle wheels do not touch the floor when the legs are down and pinned.

  • A: No, the middle wheels stay elevated off the floor, should only be the wheels in back and far front of the legs that touch for maneuverability.

Q: What is the top height of the casters and support legs? Minimum leg clearance.

3 Answers
  • A: I can't measure it at the moment because it's stored for the winter, but I would guess max clearance is between 30 and 40 mm. My driveway slopes away from my garage and the legs bottom out slightly when I move the crane in or out. I wouldn't expect it to clear any significant obstacle. I believe clearance at the rear is greater than at the front.

Translate with Google
1 Answer
