Factory Defects

I have the 1/2 and 1/4 inch versions that work well, but I'm on my second 3/8 and they've both had factory defects. The first with the forward reverse mechanism and now this one with the socket release mechanism. It would be worth while to check the operation of the wrench in store before you buy to make sure you're getting one that works properly.

NOT IMPRESSED! The 3/8 maximum flex head used to have a handle extension that could give you that extra torque to remove nuts n bolts.. complete design change and cannot warranty my broken ratchet with the same one, so I settled for this one... I miss the old style ratchet. Not only did they remove the extension, you cannot lock the flex head... and the "switch" from left to right has REVERSED!! bahh. who thought this was a good idea to now use this terrible ratchet for your maximum line... I guess I'll be buying Matco Tools now,.

Very good ratchet, flex head makes it easy to get into tight work areas and the short throw of the gear makes it easier to loosen or tighten in small tight areas. The quick release button makes it easy to change sockets.

Tried out the ratchet and found it has a good weight and balance for a 3/8. sockets dropped out easy and were held in secure, swivel handle worked good for getting into tight spaces. nice product.

Love this ratchet, I would not buy a snap on product again if all maximum tools were like this. Snap on owners will tell you that nothing compares to snap on tools, I am here to tell you they are wrong, this is a very well built ratchet
