My 'Go-to' knife

I've tried the flip knives, the old slide knife, olfa knife, etc. This one works wonderfully, easy to use, sturdy, handles well, extra blades that are easy to change and comfy grip.

Poor design

I bought this last week and am very disappointed. I originally bought roofing blades,to cut straps on wood and the knife itself. The blades constantly popped out of the handle so I switched to regular blades and still the same. The screws holding it together constantly loosened in my pocket as well as it opening in my pocket
No, I do not recommend this product.

Q: will stanley flatmax blades work with this Product #57-5076-6

A: Yes. This knife uses the standard sized replacement blade commonly available and is the same blade used in many Utility Knives. The Stanely Flatmax (Product #57-5076-6) blades should work just fine. You can also use: Mastercraft Product# 57-5240-4 with rounded ends for increased safety or a serrated version of the blade (Product# 57-5239-0)

Q: what blades for replacements I currently have the Easy Cut 2000 knife issued to me by my workplace. I want to know what blades to use for this and if they would be the same blades used by the easy cut 2000 knife

A: This knife uses the standard size replacement blade common to many utility knifes. Examples of suitable replacement blades: Product# 57-5236-6 (standard) Product #57-5240-4 (rounded corners for safety) Product #57-5239-0 (serrated edge)

Q: How do you change the blade? I must be missing something. I cant figure out how to open it upmto change the blade..

A: This knife has three position sliding lock mechanism 1 – close position 2 – blade changeable position 3 – full extended position When it’s in blade changeable position, you just need to push the button as below image shows and pull the blade out. Keep pushing the blade change mechanism and insert the new blade until you can’t insert them in. Release the blade change mechanism. The blade should be locked. REMEMBER THE BLADE CAN ONLY BE CHANGED IN BLADE CHANGEABLE POSITON. BUT NOT THE FULL EXTENDED POSITION.
