C'est le meilleur rapport qualité-prix quand elle est en solde. J'aime beaucoup l'utiliser, le seul défaut c'est la méthode de changement de la lame qui est un peu longue et que la ligne laser est inutilisable. J'aurais donné un 4 étoiles et demie.

NOT WORTH THE PRICE

I bought my first saw a couple of years ago, should have known I was in trouble as soon as it was out of the box. The blade guard gets hung up when cutting wide boards but I persevered and didn't take it back, luckily it was still under warranty when the shaft the blade mounts on wore out and started making a wobbly cut. I was refunded my money and bought another saw the same, there was my second mistake, should have shopped around for another brand. The new one cuts a 90 degree cut on narrow boards but if you make a cut using the glide on wider boards it will not make a true 90 degree cut. The wider the board the more off 90 degrees the cut is. Taking it back, waste of money!

Very happy with this product

I had a smaller sliding mitre saw that i lost in a fire.I was shopping for a replacement..checked out other brands and purchased this one..the price was great on sale.. is everything i could ask for...heavy duty..it's not light by any means..cuts all wood perfectly..true and accurate right out of the box...the double bevel is great..the experienced contractor that rebuilt my shop used it and said he was impressed with how sturdy it was and how well it cut and that it was a very good saw...would recommend to anyone...

Bonne scie. Très précise et rapide d'utilisation. Cependant un peu lourde pour la manipulation lors du transport. Je l'ai acheté en spécial car je crois que c'est le juste prix!

Q: Does it fit on folding mitre saw stand model057-1646-4? Just bought mastercraft Maximum dual bevel Model 055-6757-4 and mitre saw stand and can't seem to mount it. A heads up at store would have been nice!

A: Thanks for raising this issue and it is being addressed. From personal experience, I adjusted for the gap by first attaching 2x4 lumber to the mounting brackets. This allowed me to have a larger mounting surface. I then use deck screws to securely mount my mitre saw to the stand. I find it to be an actually faster way to mount and remove the mitre saw to the stand and then for storage separately. Personally, I went this direction due to the individual great values I got on the saw and the stand. I wasn't able to get these types of savings on the products elsewhere.

Q: Finishing blade for MCraft 12" mitre saw #55-6757? Manual warns not to use a thin-kerf blade. CT stocks 3 - 12" finishing blades which are all thin-kerf. MCraft Helpline recommends same 3 blades. Is it possible to purchase a 12" finishing blade that is not thin-kerf?

A: The manual that came with my saw doesn't have this warning about thin kerf blades. My saw came with the 1" Arbor and a new updated manual. The manual that states on page 3 that it has a 5/8" arbor has the thin kerf warning on page 16 of the manual. (See images 4 & 5) My manual on page 3 says it has a 1" Arbor and has no warning of using a thin kerf blade on page 16 (see images 1 & 2) or anywhere in the book. I called customer service (1-800-689-9928) They are finding out for me if I can use the thin kerf blades because of the new updated 1" Arbor size. Also check the manufacture date on your saw, mine is 03/11/2016. Once I get a definite answer I will update my answer. Hope this helps

Q: What size arbour does this saw have? One review says it is 5/8" , opposed to 1" like every other 12" mitre saw.
