    Excellent Bits

I'm not sure why the other guy thought spinning router bits in a drill would be an accurate gauge on the quality since most hand drills suffer from a little runout. I run these bits on a router table and there is zero wobble. I got these at least a year ago for between 50-75% off and was skeptical on using Mastercraft bits, but I figured it was a good deal on a set and I'll just replace the ones I use the most with better bits as needed. As it turns out, these bits are actually really good. They are sharp, hold an edge and provide clean cuts. As with any bit, use the correct speed in the router, keep the pitch off to prevent premature dulling and these bits are great. I wouldn't pay full price, but if you seem the for around 50% off are greater, grab a set. I'm not a fan of regular Mastercraft, but I've really been warming up to the Maximum line.

    Yes, I recommend this product.

    Decent set of bits

I purchased this set shortly before Christmas. I've used almost all of them within the last 6 months, and haven't had a single problem. The gentleman who claimed they were wobbly after spinning them in his drill most likely has a wobbly drill, as they did the same thing in my cordless drill, but they spun straight and true at high speed in my 3HP router. I'd buy them again, especially if they go on sale.

    Yes, I recommend this product.

    Warped Bits

Hi The problem I noticed is that the router bits are not all straight. I installed each one of the router bits into my drill and spun them. Some of them are quite off. The worst one was the flush trim bit. There was considerable wobble around the bearing. Not all of the bits were bad but I do not feel safe using them. I compared my bits from BusyBee and from Leevalley and they were all OK. Sorry CT, quality control on router bits is very important.

No, I do not recommend this product.
