Q: Is this tarp waterproof? I just got it wanted to see what would happen if a small puddle formed and the ground beneath is wet.

A: Yes it is. I used one on the bottom and one on top to cover my patio set last year. Everything was try in the late spring when I opened it up. I was pleased with the performance.

A: It can but the black side exposed to the sun will break down much quicker, whereas the silver side will reflect the sun and the material won't disintegrate as fast,

Q: Are the grommets evenly spaced and directly opposite from ones on opposite sides? Specs say it has 19 grommets. Even spacing would not work. Also are the corners reinforced?

A: The corners are reinforced with black plastic corners. There are 20 grommets per piece, however they are not evenly spaced and directly opposite.

Q: Could this be used as an interior foot print for a tent? I am concerned that it may be noisy like the other tarps we have, but perhaps this one is less noisy, being higher quality. We have a 6 person tent and are looking for one to cover the entire interior floor space of the tent.

A: This product could be used as an interior footprint for a tent, however rustling or noise may still occur. This product would prevent water from entering the bottom of the tent but I would suggest putting some sort of blanket over top of it to muffle the noise.
