Good product, but get your own screws

These are very solid, and seem to hold a really good amount of weight. The screws that come with them are garbage (very soft, and they strip very easily), but you can easily replace them with standard 3" construction screws.

This item works great. The only down side is the screws kept stripping, so we used different screws to install it. We are using it for bikes. We will see how it holds up over time.

Bike hangers.

We used two racks to have the bikes parallel to the ceiling. One for the front wheels and the other placed to hook the back wheels. With this arrangement we can walk under the bikes in the garage. Because the rafters do not match where we wanted to place the hanger we put plywood on the ceiling first and then mounted the racks. The hangers are solid and accommodate 2 bikes held from the ceiling. I use a ladder when hooking the bike wheels because the tires are 12 feet off the floor.
