For a variety of projects around the home and in the garage, count on the Mastercraft Air Tool Kit, 99-pc. This air tool kit is great for tightening and loosening nuts, bolts and spark plugs. It can also be used for removing wall and floor tiles, as well as deburring and performing heavy grinding. This impact wrench kit includes the following 4 tools: air-powered 1/2” impact wrench, 3/8” ratchet, 13/32” hammer/chisel and a 1/4” full-size die grinder. In addition to the 4 tools in this air tool set, there are 95 accessories packaged within this air compressor tool kit. Accessories include 4 sockets (3/8”) drive at 5/16”, 3/8”, 8mm and 9mm, as well as 8 sockets (1/2” drive) at 7/6”, 1/2”, 9/16”, 5/8”, 10mm, 12mm, 13mm and 15mm. This air compressor kit comes with the following parts: 30 screwdriver bits, 3/8” drive screwdriver bit holder, chisel bits (x4), spring retainer, 1/4” (60-grit) grinding stones (x5), 1/8” (60-grit) grinding stones (x5), 3/4” (100-grit) sanding sleeves (x5), 1” (100-grit) sanding sleeves (x5), 3/4” sanding drum, 1” sanding drum, 1/8” collet, 3” extension bar, 3/8” NPT (M) to 1/2” NPT (F) reducer, blow gun, inflating gun, 5 blow gun accessories (rubber nozzle, safety nozzle, high-pressure nozzle, adaptor, tapered nozzle), 3/8” hose end x 1/4” NPT (M), hose clamp, 1/4” female coupler (NPT), tire gauge, 4mm hex wrench, bottle of oil, sealant tape, 11.7mm and 17mm die grinder wrenches, 1/4” NPT (M) plugs (x6) and a blow-moulded case.

Q: how much SCFM does the wrench need Hi I bought this kit and am looking for a master craft compressor to use it with. On the box it states 7 SCFM for the 1/2" impact wrench to operate, but I see that the answers here state lower, can you clarify?
9 years agoA: This Impact wrench is 3.7cfm @ 90PSI. We recommend using this tool with the Mastercraft 11 Gallon air compressor, Canadian Tire SKU 058-9386.

Q: What torque setting on the impact wrench shoud be used for car lug nuts? 1,2, or 3? Mastercraft 100 Piece Air Tool Kit Product #58-9368-6
11 years agoA: Never use a impact to "torque" lug nuts. An impact can, and will easily snap off a lug stud off any car, resulting in a few hours of work to repair. You can use an impact to tighten up lug nuts using a lower setting ( like 1 or 2), then use a torque wrench for the final torque setting.

11 years agoA: Yes, all of the tools in this kit are air powered. You should buy an air compressor thats at least 4scfm @ 90Psi.

Q: How much HP does the impact gun take to function?
11 years agoA: You should be more concerned about the SCFM (standard cubic feet per minute), Than the HP of the compressor. The Compressor has to be able to meet the minimum SCFM of the specific tool. For example: the mastercraft impact wrench requires 3.7 SCFM @ 90 PSI to operate properly. If your compressor can meet that requirement, then you'll be fine. The HP just determines how fast the motor can replenish the tank with air. With an impact wrench, the more storage capacity the better. probably minimum 8 gallons should suffice.
