Mastercraft Limited Edition Brass Folding Blade Utility Knife, Gold

Fabulous. I've had this knife for 6 years now and still works like new (Minus a few blade changes of course.) I love the simplicity of the design and the carrying belt case is great. It's my everyday go to.

Just bought this yesterday played with it for a day. The knife is really hard to open might need to be broken in. It has no clip on either side to clip it to anything like the side of a toolbox. It has a little nipple for flipping it open and it’s only on one side. Almost impossible to flip open. When you do open it with two hands you end up pulling the clasp that locks the blade down so you have to push it back down a little. The blade mechanism is horrible, the other knifes have a quick release whee which works perfect and is quick. This one take a lot longer and will wear out pretty quick I’m guessing. It’s held together with a little bump on the top piece that goes into the bottom piece. After a while it’ll wear down and barely work if work at all. The knife looks great has a great weight to it and is smaller than the blue one that I had before made my mastercraft. It’s a perfect size and weight but the way it works is terrible. My guess is that the next “special edition” they put out will fix all these problems and they sell it again.
