    Update to my previous review

After extensive use (almost 5 years later), my original Clip Light (one of the old silver-grey ones) has finally packed it in. Not bad value for money, given the original price I paid. It's actually still usable -- it's only the little plastic catch holding the battery compartment door in place that has failed -- and I suspect that some superglue might fix it, at least temporarily. But I'm definitely getting a replacement.

Compact light with very useful features

This isn't as bright as some other lights that have multiple LEDs, but it's fine for travel or in an emergency kit. One of the smallest pivoting-head lights I've seen, and it's great to have the option of clipping it onto your clothing, holding it in your teeth, or standing it on end (only on a flat stable surface though). And it takes two AAA batteries, not button cells like a lot of mini-flashlights do, so it's much easier to find replacements in a hurry. My only concern is that in order to make the head movable but still keep the flashlight lightweight, some durability may have been sacrificed (the hinge probably won't hold up if sat on etc.) but for moderate use it seems fine. And at the price, it's easy to just get another if it's damaged or lost.

    Yes, I recommend this product.
