    I found the rubber handles to be an issue. They aren't strong enough sometimes so I wouldn't buy these again.

    Good snips with one small issue

    I purchased these snips to cut some sheet metal drip edge I was working with while doing siding on my house. The snips themselves are quite good and are sharp, and did a much better job than my old aviation snips. The one small issue I have with them is that the loops of the handles are not full metal loops; they are foam rubber only. When I needed to cut the drip edge where it was folded back onto itself (making it doubly thick), it had trouble, and when I squeezed with both hands (one on each handle), the loops collapse on themselves and make it difficult to apply a lot of force. See my attached photo to help understand my issue. Other than that, they have been good snips that do a great job on even such things as thick rubber auto floor mats, indoor/outdoor carpet runner, etc.

    Yes, I recommend this product.
